New Year's Resolutions

Just the other day Misty asked me what my goals are for the upcoming year. I really didn't have an answer for her. Rather than become complacent, I took some time and came up with some goals. First and foremost, quit smoking again! I'm in the process of studying for the MySQL 5.0 Developer certification so we can add that to the goals list. After that certification, I'm either going for the Red Hat Certified Engineer or the Linux+. There's not too much I want from 2006. Life is good so I just want to keep it that way.

Now I want to take a minute to appreciate what I've accomplished over the past year:

  • Became a Zend Certified Engineer
  • Got in the best physical shape of my life
  • Learned to ride a motorcycle and got a Honda Shadow
  • Met a wonderful woman (yep, snagged me a hottie!)
